Lincoln University, P.A.- In a thrilling showdown, Livingstone College narrowly edged out Lincoln University with a final score of 15-14.
The game started with a strong showing from Livingstone as
Jason Zapata nailed a 34-yard field goal, putting them ahead 3-0. However, Lincoln quickly responded with a spectacular 69-yard touchdown pass from Isaiah Freeman to Eli Riddick, giving them a 7-3 lead.
As the second quarter unfolded, Livingstone fought back, with Zapata connecting on two more field goals—27 and 29 yards—to bring the score to 9-7. But Lincoln struck again just before halftime, with Freeman powering in a 1-yard touchdown run, making it 14-9.
The third quarter saw the Blue Bears offense come alive.
