Coaches' Comments

Head Coach Sean Gilbert

"This class represents exactly where we're taking Livingstone Football. We targeted competitors — guys who love football, who understand accountability, and who are hungry to win. We addressed the line of scrimmage, added experience through the portal, and brought in young talent that fits our culture. This group raises our standard immediately."

Defensive Coordinator Mike Austin

"Defensively, this is a physical, fast, and versatile group. We added length up front, speed at linebacker, and experience in the secondary. The transfers bring leadership, and the high school signees bring upside. We're building a defense that can dictate the game, not react to it."

Offensive Coordinator Marcel Caver

"We focused on balance and competition. The quarterback room got deeper, the offensive line got stronger, and we added playmakers who can stretch the field and make plays after the catch. This class gives us the flexibility to evolve offensively and positions us to be both explosive and physical."
