Salisbury, NC- Livingstone College football is celebrating a major milestone as three of its standout true freshmen earned national recognition on Pittman's Pocket HBCU True Freshman All-American Teams—a rare and impressive accomplishment for the program.

Leading the way on the First Team is defensive lineman Joshua Jackson (Saint Michaels HS, Ruther Glen, VA). Jackson dominated in the trenches all season, racking up 24 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 5 quarterback hurries, and even a blocked kick. His quickness and disruptive edge presence made him a nightmare for opposing offenses.

Joining him on the First Team is defensive back Malachi Adkins (Clayton HS, Clayton, NC). Adkins proved to be a versatile playmaker in the secondary, finishing with 31 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 pass breakup, and a blocked kick. His ability to impact the game in multiple ways earned him a spot among the nation's best.

On the Second Team, running back Javen Parker showcased his explosiveness out of the backfield. Known for his quick feet and slippery moves in space, Parker consistently delivered big plays and gave defenses headaches with his ability to break off chunk yardage at any moment.

This trio of freshmen represents a significant achievement for Livingstone football and highlights the program's growing reputation for developing elite talent.
