Salisbury, NC – Livingstone College proudly announces its 2026 Blue Bears football schedule, featuring an exciting slate of six home games, key CIAA matchups, and meaningful opportunities for alumni, students, and supporters to rally behind the program at Alumni Memorial Stadium.
The 2026 campaign begins at home on August 29, as the Blue Bears welcome Allen University, setting the tone for a season that emphasizes both competitive excellence and strong fan engagement in Salisbury.
After opening weekend, Livingstone hits the road for back-to-back contests at Virginia Union (Sept. 5) and Bluefield State (Sept. 12), before returning home on September 19 for a highly anticipated CIAA showdown against Winston-Salem State.
Conference play continues with a road trip to Shaw University on September 26, followed by one of the season's marquee moments—Homecoming—on October 3, when the Blue Bears host Fayetteville State in front of a vibrant home crowd.
Livingstone travels to Virginia State on October 10 before entering a critical late-season stretch. The Blue Bears return to Alumni Memorial Stadium on October 24 to face Elizabeth City State, followed by a matchup against Virginia University of Lynchburg on October 31.
The regular season concludes on November 7 with one of the most anticipated games of the year, as Livingstone hosts rival Johnson C. Smith University. The contest will serve as both the Commemorative Classic and Senior Day, celebrating the program's legacy while honoring its graduating student-athletes.
With six home games on the schedule, the Blue Bears are positioned to build momentum in front of their home supporters while competing for a strong finish in CIAA play.
