Khyree Temple Named to HBCU Division II Men’s All-America Team

SALISBURY, N.C. - After a strong 2023-24 campaign that saw him lead the way as the men's basketball leading scorer and rebounder, Khyree Temple has been named to the Division II HBCU All-America Team powered by BOXTOROW, announced Monday morning.

Temple was named to the second team, serving as one of 10 CIAA student-athletes named on the total list. He collects his second postseason accolade, also being named All-CIAA Frontcourt.

The junior forward helped spearhead the Blue Bears' offensive attack all season while consistently being a force on the boards as well. He averaged 14.6 points per game while shooting an efficient 51.9% from the field, having notched double-digit points in 16 of the 18 games he played in this season. On the boards, he averaged 7.0 rebounds per game, accomplishing five double-doubles on the season, also a team high.
