Salisbury, N.C.- On Senior Night, the Livingstone College men's basketball team fell short against Johnson C. Smith, losing 62-51.
Jamal Cannady Jr. led the way for Livingstone with 16 points, going 5-for-15 from the field and 6-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Teon Tiller contributed 8 points and 4 rebounds in 28 minutes, but the team struggled from beyond the arc, with Tiller being the only player to hit a 3-pointer.
James Nipper added 11 points and 6 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome Johnson C. Smith's balanced attack.
As the season wraps up, Livingstone will aim to bounce back and end on a high note in their final game against Winston-Salem State this weekend. Game time is set for 4pm.
