Blue Bears Opens 2016-17 Men’s Basketball Season Friday

SALISBURY, N.C., - Livingstone College men's basketball team will hit the road for their 2016-17 opener, traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina to take part in the two day JCSU Tip-Off Basketball Challenge hosted by Johnson C. Smith University. The Blue Bears will tip off action at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 against Felician University of Rutherford, New Jersey. LC will take on Bluefield State College on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 2:00 p.m.

Last year's squad posted a 15-17 overall record, 7-9 CIAA finish and 4-6 divisional mark, were picked tied for ninth in the order.

Felician University was selected to finish in seventh place in the CACC North Division.
