Lady Blue Bears Fall to Chowan

SALISBURY, NC - Livingstone's women's basketball team lost at Chowan, 68-60, on Monday in CIAA action.

The Blue Bears shot 42.1 percent, but couldn't overcome 27 turnovers and 25 offensive rebounds by Chowan.

Wende Foster and Zena Lovette scored 12 points each for the Blue Bears.

Brittany Taylor and Bria Patterson scored 11 each.

Foster blocked four shots. Taylor led the Blue Bears (8-6, 2-2 CIAA) with seven rebounds.

Mercedes Tapia and Courtni Williams scored 12 points each for the Northern-Division leading Hawks (10-5, 4-1 CIAA).
