The Livingstone College women's basketball team suffered a 69-64 loss to Claflin University on Tuesday evening.
The loss drops the Lady Blue Bears to 3-4 overall on the season.

The Lady Blue Bears had two players to score double figures. Tiffany Evans and Ashley Walker scored 15 points apiece. Evans scored crucial baskets in the second half to give Livingstone a fighting chance.

Cierra York paced the Lady Blue Bears with eight points and nine rebounds. York hit back-to-back shots in the first half to keep the game close; at the half Livingstone tied the game at 31-31. Wende Foster also added eight points to the score, grabbed eight rebounds and recorded five blocks.

As a team, the Lady Blue Bears out-rebounded the Lady Panthers 55-39.

Livingstone will return to action on November 30 as they take on cross-town rivalries, Catawba College. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m.
