Columbia, SC -The Livingstone College women's basketball team suffered a 60-53 loss to Benedict College on Tuesday night.

The Lady Blue Bears drop to 2-1 on the season.
Ashley Walker played 27 minutes for the Lady Blue Bears and was their leading scorer with her 15 points and eight rebounds performance. Sharp-shooter Diamond Tolliver scored 13 points and recorded three steals.

Cierra York paced the Lady Blue Bears offense with 12 points and five rebounds.

Wende Foster and Alexis Hicks were a duo in the paint and recorded seven and eight rebounds respectively.

The Lady Blue Bears will return to action on November 16 as they travel to Buckhannon, WV to take on West Virginia Wesleyan College. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
