The Livingstone College women's basketball team fell short to the Lincoln (PA) University Lady Lions 65-55 in CIAA action on Monday night. Livingstone was led by Ashley Walker's (Washington, D.C.) 12 points and six rebounds.

Although the Lady Blue Bears was down by as much as 15 points in the game, Livingstone rallied back each time in an effort to capture the win. Kelcyn Manurs and Jasmine Murray added 11 and 10 points respectively to the Lady Blue Bears score.

The loss drops Livingstone to 5-7 overall and 1-2 in league play.

The Lady Blue Bears will play at home in Trent Gym on Thursday, January 10 as they face the Elizabeth City State University Vikings. Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
