Anthony Welch's three pointer at the 8:29 mark gave the Blue Bears a chance to trail by only three points. However, the Falcons maintained their composure and shot 54 percent for a 41-23 point lead at the half.
The Blue Bears continued to trail in the second half, and the Falcons offensive presence didn't make it any better. The Falcons led by as much as 25 points.

Mark Thomas paced the Blue Bears with 17 points. Thomas' jumper with 35 seconds left to play allowed the Blue Bears to pull within nine points, but with little time Livingstone was forced to foul.
The Blue Bears finished the game with a 40 percent field goal shooting average on 22-of-54 shots.
The Falcons connected on 26-of-45 shots (57 percent). Saint Augustine's also had four players to score double figures.
