The Livingstone College men's basketball team defeated Chowan University 81-78 on Monday night. The Blue Bears had six players to score double figures.

Mark Thomas led the Blue Bears with 15 points and eight rebounds.  Darnell Turner played big in the paint in the first half. Overall Turner hit six-of-11 shots from the field and shot 100 percent from the charity stripe. He finished with 14 points.

The Blue Bears were all over the Hawks tonight forcing them to commit 15 turnovers in which the Blue Bears converted to 21 points.
