Livingstone College's Cierra York scored a team high 12 points in the 76-54 loss to Catawba College Saturday afternoon at Goodman Gym. The Lady Indians held the Lady Blue Bears to a 28 percent field goal percentage.

Ashley Walker paced the Lady Blue Bears with 10 points and eight rebounds. Senior Tiffany Evans grabbed a team high 10 defensive rebounds, and added eight points to the score. Kelcyn Manurs followed with eight points, five rebounds and three steals.

The Lady Indians had two players to score double figures. Taylor May and Elizabeth Merritt scored 18 and 14 points respectively. May also pulled down 10 rebounds. The Lady Indians out-rebounded the Lady Blue Bears 55-43.

Livingstone drops to 4-5 on the season while Catawba improves to 5-5.

The Lady Blue Bears travel to Bowie, Maryland to face Bowie State University, January 3. Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
