Charlotte, NC – The CIAA Media Day will take place this Thursday (Oct.2) in Charlotte, NC at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Livingstone College's Men's Head basketball coach James Stinson and Women's Head basketball coach Anita Howard, will both be in attendance for the event to discuss the vision for 2014-2015 upcoming season.
Predicted order of finish for the Northern, Southern Divisions as well as the All-CIAA preseason teams will be announced at the event.
On the men's side Livingstone College returns this year as the reigning 2014 CIAA Champions, under direction of head coach James Stinson. The Blue Bears return after a 21-8 overall record last year and 11-5 conference record. Two key returners this year for the men are, senior forward Eric Mayo (Shelby, NC) and Junior Guard Eric Dubose (Brooklyn, NY)
On the women's side, the Lady Blue Bears return from last year posting out a 12-15 overall record. Key returners for the ladies are, Senior Cierra Polk (Winston-Salem, NC) and Junior Wende Foster (Detroit, MI).
The media circuit will be held from 10:45 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in room 208A of the Charlotte Convention Center. The Media Day Q & A will begin at 1:00 p.m. in room 208B.
