SANFORD, N.C. – Livingstone College wrapped up play at the CIAA Southern Division Golf Tournament with a seventh-place finish after three rounds at Quail Ridge Golf Course.
The Blue Bears battled across the demanding layout and posted a team score anchored by consistent performances throughout the lineup. Livingstone was paced by
Michael Alunga, who finished the tournament with a strong round of 78, leading the team on the final day of competition.
Alunga carded a steady 37 on the front nine before closing with a 41 on the back, finishing the event at +8, the top score among Blue Bear golfers in Round 3. His composed play across several long par‑4s helped stabilize Livingstone's position on the leaderboard.
Adrabo Emmanuel followed with an 83, recording a 40 on the front nine and a 43 on the inward stretch. Emmanuel delivered consistent ball‑striking throughout the day, contributing a key scoring round to the team's total.
Denis Asaba matched Emmanuel's steadiness, finishing with an 84 and posting 42‑42 across his two nines. Asaba minimized mistakes in the closing holes, giving the Blue Bears another reliable score in the team count.
Antonio Jofferion added an 86, opening with an impressive 39 on the outward nine before navigating a tougher back nine to complete his round.
Cameron Tiwkohng rounded out Livingstone's lineup with an 88 (42‑46), showing competitive resilience throughout the championship course.
The Blue Bears received balanced contributions across the board, with each golfer overcoming challenging conditions and course set up at Quail Ridge as they secured their seventh-place finish in the Southern Division standings.
With the CIAA Southern Division Tournament now complete, Livingstone turns its attention to the CIAA Northern Division Tournament, scheduled for March 30–31 and hosted by Bluefield State.
