Members of the Black College Golf Coaches Association (BCGCA) have elected Andre Springs, Golf Coach at Livingstone College, as their new President, effective February 1, 2026. He has been an active member within the BCGCA since its founding and is a consistent supporter of its mission to elevate the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) golf programs nationwide.
"It is an honor to serve as president of the Black College Golf Coaches Association," Springs said. "I will prioritize expanding strategic partnerships, revitalizing the BCGCA's digital presence, and securing the resources necessary to create sustainable pathways for the next generation of golfers to lead on and off the course."
The BCGCA is a national organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting HBCU golf programs, coaches and student-athletes. The association provides professional development, networking, and advocacy, ensuring HBCU golf receives recognition and resources to thrive.
