SALISBURY, N.C. — Livingstone College Athletics will celebrate the beginning of a new chapter for Blue Bear women's basketball during the 2026–27 Women's Basketball Tip-Off Brunch.

The event will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts. Supporters will receive an inside look at the upcoming season while connecting with members of the Livingstone College women's basketball program.

The Tip-Off Brunch will showcase the team's preparations, introduce the student-athletes and coaching staff, and highlight the goals and expectations surrounding the 2026–27 season. The program will also recognize the supporters, families, alumni, and community members whose continued involvement strengthens the Blue Bear experience.

Leading the event as guest speaker will be Trisha Stafford-Odom, veteran head coach of the Charlotte Crown, former WNBA player, and nationally recognized recruiter. Stafford-Odom is known for building elite programs and establishing a culture centered on discipline, personal growth, service, and competitive excellence.

Her experience as a player, coach, recruiter, and mentor will bring an inspiring perspective to the afternoon as Livingstone prepares its student-athletes for success on the court and beyond.

The Tip-Off Brunch represents more than the start of another basketball season. It provides an opportunity for the Livingstone community to come together, celebrate the program's progress, and build excitement for what lies ahead.

Guests can look forward to meeting the team, hearing directly from the coaching staff, learning more about the program's vision, and getting an early preview of the energy the Blue Bears plan to bring throughout the season.
