SALISBURY - Livingstone College Athletics would like to recognize Varvara Papakonstantinou for being named Valedictorian for the 2023 graduating class. Papakonstantinou is a member of the women's basketball team and track and field team.
She is a 2021 White House Initiative Scholar, a 2021 American Association of the University of Women Scholar, a 2021 Honda Campus All-Star Challenge Club Sweet 16 Nationals Award Recipient, a three-time Church Mutual Protecting the Greater Good Award Recipient, a two-time Presidential Scholar, a time-time Academic Gold Medalist, a two-time Academic Player of The Year Award for both basketball and track, a 2023 Coach's Award Recipient, a 2023 Female Athlete of The Year Award Recipient, and the 2023 Lamp of Knowledge Award.
Varvara Papakonstantinou, known as "Papa" has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her entire college career while balancing being a student-athlete.
