SALISBURY -Khyree Temple has been named the Coca-Cola CIAA Men's Player of the week.
Khyree Temple averaged 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in a pair of wins over Fayetteville State and Johnson C. Smith last week. Against the Broncos, the sophomore scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds in the 67-65 overtime win. His five assists and two blocks in that game were also a season-high. In overtime, the West Philadelphia, PA native scored the game-winning basket with two seconds left, he finished 7-of-12 from the field, including two of four from deep. In the 73-71 win over the Golden Bulls, Temple tallied 12 points, six rebounds, three steals, two assists, and a block.
