Men's and Women's Basketball Falls to Bowie

BOWIE, MD - Livingstone's men shot 2-for-19 on 3-pointers and lost at Bowie State, 72-60, on Sunday.

Jimmy Wilson scored 13 to lead Livingstone. David Duncan had 10.
The Blue Bears shot 33 percent from the field and fell to 2-3. It was the first CIAA game for Livingstone, although it's not a divisional game.

Brian Kelley led Bowie State with 14 points. The Bulldogs shot 43 percent.
The Blue Bears were down 20 at halftime.

Women's Action

Livingstone's women lost at Bowie State, 57-46, on Sunday in the CIAA opener for both teams.

The Blue Bears shot 28.3 percent from the field and were 3-for-23 on 3-pointers.
Ari DeJesus had 18 points, and Zena Lovette scored 14 for the Blue Bears.

Kiara Colston led the Bulldogs with 16 points.

Both teams will continue to be on the road at Lincoln (Pa.) on Tuesday, December 13. Women's will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. with men's game to follow
