The Livingstone College women's tennis team enjoyed their first team victory against Elizabeth City State University 5-2 during the CIAA Northern Division Roundups in Petersburg, VA and at Battery Park in Richmond Va. First year player
Arria Evans gained her first singles victory versus ECSU and played competitive match vs VUU, partnering with
Shannon Davis in her first doubles match.

Miracle Wigfall won their second doubles match with a victory over ECSU 8-0. No. 1 doubles team partners,
Tenesha Dickerson and
Shondra Redfern, are now 3-4 overall in doubles with wins over ECSU, Fayetteville St., and Winston-Salem State.
Livingstone left an impressive mark with their status in the No.1 singles competitions.
First year player
Shondra Redfern rolled for three individual singles wins against ECSU, Virginia State, and Bowie State. This was the first sweep of singles wins by Livingstone in the northern division roundups. Redfern has a total of six consecutive singles wins in CIAA competition.
Final results were LC Women Team with one win vs ECSU 5-2. The Blue Bears lost the remaining matches versus Bowie 1-8, Virginia Union 0-5, VSU 1 - 8.
The Blue Bears will return to action on Monday, March 24 as they host Shaw University at Salisbury City Park Tennis Courts. The match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
