SALISBURY, N.C. - Livingstone women's tennis was back in action Saturday for a pair of matches against Johnson C. Smith. The Blue Bears continued to show the progress they've made in a short time but were unable to come out on top, as they'd drop both matches with score of 2-4 and 1-6, respectively.
The first match saw
Monica Padron and
Genesis Missick fight to the end in some close singles matches. Padron and Missick also managed to win a set in their doubles' match but were unable to take a second.
Tanniya Womack claimed a singles and a doubles victory via forfeit, alongside
Azia Thomas
The second match produced a similar result, with Livingstone claiming another victory via forfeit. Padron was narrowly defeated, 5-7, in the first set of her singles match before receiving a DNF in the second.

Livingstone travels to Winston-Salem State this Saturday, April 13 for a 2:00 P.M. matchup with the Rams.
