The Livingstone College men's basketball team walked away with a 79-70 close victory against Allen University, in day two of the JCSU Tip-Off Classic in Charlotte, NC.

Eric Dubose paced Livingstone with 19 points and five assists, followed by Mark Thomas' 15 points and six assists. Anthony Welch and Jody Hill, Jr., contributed to the win with their 14 and 13 points apiece. Welch recorded six rebounds.
Emarri Bailey also grabbed six rebounds for the Blue Bears.

With the win, Livingstone moves to 3-0 on the season.

The Blue Bears finished the contest shooting 41.7 percent (25-of-60) from the field, while holding Allen to 37.9 percent (25-of-66).

Livingstone heads to Due West, SC, November 23, to take on Erskine College. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
