Livingstone College's Jody Hill Jr., (Detroit, MI) and Omar Ford-Bey (Chester, PA) scored 21 points apiece as they led the Blue Bears to a 81-72 victory over the Lincoln (PA) University Lions Monday night. Ford-Bey also grabbed ten rebounds to finish with a double-double over the Lions.

This CIAA marquee matchup was a back-and-forth type game as there were two ties and six lead changes. Although the Blue Bears were down at the half 28-31, their second half play proved to be too much for the Lions. The Blue Bears outscored the Lions 53-41 in the second half.

Eladio Espinoza (Summit, NJ) also finished with a double-double night with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Mark Thomas (Saginaw, MI) finished the game with 13 points; 11 points coming from the free throw line.

The win improves the Blue Bears to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in the CIAA.

The Blue Bears will continue their CIAA action back home in Trent Gym on January 10. Livingstone will go head-to-head with the Elizabeth City State University Vikings. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
