Charlotte, N.C. – The Livingstone women's track & field team delivered a strong showing at the Johnson C. Smith University Invitational, finishing fourth overall out of 10 teams. Claflin took first place, followed by Winston-Salem State in second and Johnson C. Smith in third.
Leading the Blue Bears was
Trinity Bethea, who won the 400 meters with a time of 55.27 seconds, marking a college-best performance.
In addition to Bethea's standout effort, the team demonstrated depth and consistency, placing athletes in the top 10 in 10 of 12 events.
The Blue Bears will return to action on Saturday, April 18th, at North Carolina A&T for the Aggie Invitational, carrying momentum from this strong performance.
