. – The Livingstone College women's track & field team delivered a strong showing at the John Weaver Invitational, finishing fourth overall with 77 points in a 12-team field. Host Appalachian State claimed the team title, followed by the Virginia Tech Running Club in second and Emory & Henry in third.
Leading the way for the Blue Bears were Livingstone's top performers:

Sabrena Hogan – 3rd place, Triple Jump (11.75m); 5th place, Long Jump (5.23m)

Trinity Bethea – 5th place, 400m (56.70)

Keneah Romney – 5th place, 400m Hurdles (1:15.09)

Heaven Copeland – 4th place, 100m (12.21)
Relay highlights:
• 4x100m Relay – 2nd place (Garret, Bethea, Shaw, Copeland) – 46.28, meeting the NCAA provisional qualifying standard.
Livingstone showcased impressive depth throughout the meet, recording top-15 finishes in all 10 events contested.
The Blue Bears return to action May 1–2 in Ettrick, Va., for the CIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
