SALISBURY, N.C. - The Blue Bears were back on the road Saturday evening for an intense match-up against conference rival Winston-Salem State. The game came down to the wire, ultimately with less than 10 seconds remaining, as the Rams missed an opportunity to take the lead on the first missed free throw of a one-and-one, as Livingstone would hold on, 61-60.
With the win, Livingstone improves to 10-11 (6-6 CIAA), while Winston-Salem State falls to 14-7 (8-4 CIAA).

Khyree Temple had one of his best games of the season, helping lead the way for the tough Blue Bears squad with 21 points and team-high seven rebounds, to go along with two assists, two steals and a block. Freshman
James Nipper continues to take advantage of his increased playing time, notching double-digits once again with 12 points, grabbing five rebounds of his own.
