SALISBURY, N.C. - Livingstone headed to Claflin for a Wednesday evening showdown. The game came down to the wire, but a made basket with three seconds left propelled Claflin to a late victory.
With the loss, Livingstone falls to 10-12 (6-7 CIAA), while Claflin improves to 13-8 (10-3 CIAA).
Junior
Khyree Temple and sophomore
Pharoah Lassiter spearheaded the Blue Bears' offensive attack. Temple put forth his fourth double-double of the season, netting 15 points while grabbing game-high 14 rebounds. Lassiter would actually lead the team in scoring with game-high 18 points.
