Salisbury, N.C. - The Blue Bears took on Shaw for the second time this season on Saturday evening. A strong second half that saw them score 52 points propelled Livingstone to an 88-81 victory.
With the win, Livingstone improves to 11-12 (7-7 CIAA), while Shaw falls to 11-11 (7-7 CIAA).Â
After accomplishing his fourth double-double of the season, Junior
Khyree Temple narrowly missed his fifth, netting 18 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Senior
Teon Tiller added 14 points of his own while
Detionne Leach and
James Nipper scored 11 each. The Blue Bears took a 36-29 lead into the break and fended off Shaw long enough to earn the victory.Â
