SALISBURY, N.C. - Livingstone's third home game in a week saw them play host to St. Augustine's. A strong first half combined with a strong game on the boards led to the Blue Bears' second-consecutive victory, 76-64.
With the win, Livingstone improves to 12-12 (8-7 CIAA), while St. Augustine's falls to 12-13 (8-8 CIAA).
Sophomore
Nathan Montaque continues to feature as one of the team's leading scorers, netting 17 points on 7-13 shooting, including 3-5 from behind the arc. Junior
Khyree Temple narrowly missed his fifth double-double of the season, scoring 12 points and grabbing nine rebounds. On the defensive side, sophomore
Omarion Broderick continues to make his presence felt, bringing down six rebounds while swatting away two blocks and swiping two steals. He also added seven points of his own including a pair of emphatic dunks.
