Salisbury, N.C.- In a dramatic and heartbreaking finish, the Blue Bears suffered a narrow 63-64 loss to Lincoln (PA). The game came down to the final moments, with Livingstone unable to capitalize on a last-ditch effort, falling just one point short.
Jamal Cannady Jr. led the team with a strong performance, scoring 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 1-of-1 from three-point range. He also grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out 1 assist in 29 minutes of play.
James Nipper added 12 points, hitting 5-of-10 from the field and 1-of-2 from beyond the arc. He also contributed 5 rebounds and 2 assists. King Ijeoma posted a solid all-around effort with 9 points, and 8 rebound.Â
Ta'jae Jenkins chipped in with 4 points and 4 rebounds in 21 minutes, while Paul Tako contributed 2 points in limited action. Jamie Lewis scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Livingstone will look to bounce back when they head to Spartanburg, SC on January 2nd to take on Converse College. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
