DURHAM, North Carolina – The Livingstone track and field program completed their 2023 outdoor season at the 2023 CIAA Outdoor Championship, highlighted by Tyler Wagner receiving track most valuable player.
Final Results
On the men's side, Keilan Strader, Tyler Wagner, Louis Gilbert, and David Bradford finished second in the 4x100 relay with a time of 42.01. David Bradford made the podium with a third-place finish in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.96. Bradford placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.61.
Tyler Wagner joined in on the podium action with a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.71. Wagner continued his podium presence placing first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.61.
Avery Fields finished eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.09. Curtxavier Fryson took fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.29.
Jayden Mungo finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.84.
Adrian Taranto placed ninth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:37.66. Darren Wharton followed with a tenth-place finish with a time of 20:30.62. David Bradford, Tyler Wagner, Louis Gilbert, and Keilan Strader finished fourth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:21.14.
Terry Williams finished eighth in the javelin throw with a mark of 37.41 meters. Williams finished seventh in the discus with a throw of 39.06 meters.
Marcus Cook made the podium with a mark of 13.83 meters. Jeremiah Brown placed ninth in the discus throw with a mark of 36.99 meters.
