SALISBURY - The Livingstone College women's tennis team dropped their home opener to Johnson C. Smith University Wednesday, April 5, 4-0.
The Golden Bulls swept the Blue Bears in doubles play. Genesis Missick and Keyvana Resper fell on court one, (6-0). Azia Thomas and Brenre Taylor dropped their doubles match on court two, (5-0).
Tanniya Womack and Marissa Paul fell on court three, (6-0).
In singles play,Azia Thomas dropped in the number three spot to Chengeto Moyana, (6-0)(6-0). Keyvana Resper faced Sanaa Hewitt in the number four spot. Resper fell to Hewitt, (1-6)(0-6). Maykayla Ramos secured the win or the Golden Bulls with a win over Marissa Paul in the number five spot, (6-0)(6-0).
