BOONE, North Carolina – The Livingstone track and field program competed at Appalachian State Open in their final regular season meet, highlighted by 23 top-10 finishes.
Final Results
On the women's side, Lydia Chapple placed fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.22. Chapple also finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.88.
Taryn O'Neal finished seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 10.61 meters. Dajaneen Alejandro-Ortiz took ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.93 meters.
Sydney McDonald finished fifth in the 1500-meters with a time of 5:20.05. Saa'Naudia Deloatch finished fourth in the 400-meters with a time of 1:01.66. Asia'Lee Fair took sixth in the 400-meters with a time of 1:03.37.
Tania Starkie placed eighth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.59.
On the men's side, Terry Williams finished eighth in the discus with a new personal best throw of 38.58 Luis Azar-Moise placed second in the long jump with a personal best mark of 6.50 meters. Azar-Moise also took second in the triple jump with another personal best mark of 14.03 meters.
Marcus Cook took fifth in the long jump with a mark of 6.10 meters. Cook also got third in the triple jump with a mark of 14.02 meters.
Jaden Jenkins placed third in the high jump clearing 1.83 meters.
Keilan Strader, Tyler Wagner, Avery Fields, and David Bradford finished first in the 4x100 relay with a new personal best of 41.62.
Jayden Mungo placed fourth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.52. Jordan Geddie took ninth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.23.
Louis Gilbert finished fifth in the 400-meters with a time of 51.86. Curtxavier Fryson placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.02.
David Bradford finished second in the 110 hurdles in the 400-meter hurdles with an NCAA provisional time of 52.82.
Tyler Wagner took fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.02. Keilan Strader followed in fifth with a time of 22.29.
