SALISBURY - The Livingstone College women's tennis team fell to Winston-Salem State University Wednesday, April 12, 4-0.
The Rams swept the Blue Bears in doubles play. Genesis Missick and Brenre Taylor dropped to Semmie Moore and Mekenna Mason, (6-1).
Shajada Barrett and Anthonia Smith defeated Marissa Paul and Keyvana Resper on court 2, (6-1).
In singles play, Genesis Missick fought hard but dropped in the number one spot, (6-0)(6-1). Brenre Taylor fell in the number two spot to Mekenna Mason, (6-2)(3-0).
Tanniya Womack dropped the number five spot (6-0)(6-0) against Brooke Higgins. Keyvana Resper fell in the number three spot (6-0)(6-0) against Shajada Barrett. Anthonia Smith defeated Marissa Paul (6-1)(6-0) in the number four spot.
