WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina - The Livingstone College women's tennis team fell to Winston-Salem State University Saturday, March 11 at Salem Tennis Courts, 4-0.
The Rams swept the Blue Bears in doubles play. Genesis Missick and Azia Thomas dropped to Semmie Moore and Mekenna Mason, (8-1).
Shajada Barrett and Anthonia Smith defeated Marissa Paul and Keyvana Resper on court 2, (8-1).
In singles play, Genesis Missick fought hard but dropped in the number one spot, (6-0)(6-4). Azia Thomas fell in the number two spot to Mekenna Mason, (6-1)(6-1).
Tanniya Womack dropped the number five spot (6-0)(6-0) against Anthonia Smith. Keyvana Resper fell in the number three spot (6-1)(6-0) against Yamani Green. Shajada Barrett defeated Marissa Paul (6-1)(6-1) in the number four spot.
