WILSON, NC - The Barton Intercollegiate golf tournament hosted by Barton College at Wilson Country Club on March 14 - 15, 2022 attracted over ten Division II schools. Amongst these schools was the Livingstone College golf team that finished 5th out of the 10 schools.  Barton College took first place with a score of 851.  Livingstone College scored 306 in both the first and second round and finish the third round with a score of 303.  The overall final score was 915.  Xavier Proctor lead all Blue Bears with a score of 225.

"It was a great experience for our student-athletes to know where their game stands in such a strong field of some of the best players in the nation", said Head Coach Andre Springs. He also added, "We finished 5th this time, but we are only going up from there."
