SALISBURY - David Bradford and Cameron Snead have been named men's track and field athletes of the week.

David Bradford was part of a relay team that set a school record in the 4x300 meter with a time of 2:23.60. That time placed second in the John Weaver Invitational. The redshirt sophomore took first in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 49.37 and third in the 55-meter hurdles with a personal best of 7.72.

In his first collegiate meet, the John Weaver Invitational, Cameron Snead qualified for the NCAA National Championship with an impressive jump of 14.47 meters in the triple jump. The Benson, NC native also placed third with a 6.83-meter long jump.

"We look forward to more success from the whole team."
