WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina – Livingstone Volleyball (1-17,0-14) dropped a 3-0 decision (21-25, 23-25, 13-25) to Winston-Salem State University (11-11, 7-6) Monday evening at Whitaker Gymnasium.
Livingstone ht .116. The Blue Bears recorded 22 kills and 20 assists, eight aces, two blocks, and registered 23 digs.
Winston-Salem State hit .283.
The Rams hit 41 kills in the match with 34 assists, five aces, and three blocks.
Doris Ajagbe and Arliya Bennerman led the Blue Bears with five kills. While Tiffany Chandler finished with four digs. Dekiya Wilson-Thomas registered nin assists.

- The Blue Bears and the Rams traded leads for majority of the set.
- The Rams took a five point lead over the Blue Bears with a 4-0 run, 18-13.
- The Blue Bears got within two with a 3-0 run, 18-16.
- The Rams pulled away even more with a 4-0 run, 22-16.
- The Blue Bears fought to the end, cutting the Rams lead to four.
- Ultimately, the ams took set one, 25-21.

- The Blue Bears took an early lead over the Rams with a 5-0 run, 9-3.
- The Rams would take the lead with a 10-0 run, 19-13.
- The Blue Bears battled back to cut the Rams lead by one with a 6-0 run, 24-23.
- A kill by Rheign Davis would give the Rams set two, 25-23.

- The Rams took a early lead with a 6-0 run, 12-5.
- The Blue Bears would cut the Rams lead to five with a ace by Taylor Grant, 15-10.
- The Blue Bears couldn't find a rhythm in the set, only scoring three more points.
- The Rams closed out the match winning set three, 25-13.
