BOWIE, Maryland — Kevin Larkins intercepted it from Dion Golatt Jr for an 83-yard touchdown in the third quarter, but Bowie State's seven touchdowns lead the Bulldogs over Livingstone, 53-7, on Saturday evening at Bulldogs Stadium.
The Blue Bears fall to 1-4 and will return to action on Saturday, October 8 for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff at home against Winston Salem State on the CIAA Sports Network.
Trailing the entire game, Livingstone's defense never stopped showing up. The Blue Bear defense blocked the three extra points against the Bulldogs.
Jaden Echols led the Blue Bear defense with 11 tackles. Followed by Will Tims with nine. Terrance McPherson had eight tackles in Saturday evening's game.
Silas Cruse accounted for 100 yards of total offense (100 passing, 0 rushing).
Mattew Henry led the Blue Bears in receiving with three catches for 51 yards. Andre Harris led in rushing with 32 yards.
