Fayetteville State University spoiled homecoming for Livingstone as the Broncos shut out the Blue Bears, 32-0 at Alumni Memorial Stadium Saturday (Nov. 2).
FSU (7-2, 5-1 CIAA) handed LC (4-5, 1-5 CIAA) its fifth straight loss before a near capacity crown on a cool crisp mostly sunny afternoon in Salisbury.
While the Broncos were racking up 332 yards of total offense, Livingstone could only manage 186 total yards. LC only crossed midfield twice during the game and while they out rushed the Broncos 109-62 and held FSU's Stevie Green to 62 yards on the ground, their offense struggled throughout the day.
FSU quarterback Richard Latimer completed 20 of 26 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns spreading the wealth to 11 different receivers.

Xavier Longerbeam completed 13 of 34 pass attempts for 77 yards.
On defense, LC's Malcolm Hayes had a monster day recording 9 tackles (7 solo)
The Blue Bears will close out their regular season when they host Johnson C. Smith in the Commemorative Classic, Saturday, November 9 in Salisbury at Alumni Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
