Anna-Kay Edwards, a recent 2014Â Â Graduate, former Miss Livingstone College, and a member of the Women's Cross Country and Track Team is a nominee for the 2014Â NCAA Woman of the Year Award.Â
The Woman of the Year Award honors those graduating female student-athletes who have made an impact throughout their careers in academics, athletics, service, and leadership. Ms. Edwards was one of 75 nominee's chosen who competed in Division 2 and just one of 3 female student-athletes chosen to represent the C.I.A.A. Other Nominee's came from those who had competed in Division 1 and Division 3 Institutions to make up the rest of the 446 female student-athlete's who were nominated for this award.
The top 30 of those 446Â student-athletes chosen by the NCAA selection committee will be honored and the 2014 NCAA Woman of the year will be announced, at the annual ceremony in Indianapolis on Sunday October 19, 2014.
