Salisbury-The Livingstone College volleyball team defeated the Morris College Hornets on day one of the Blue Bear Invitational in Trent Gymnasium 3-0.

The Blue Bears attacked the Hornets three straight sets 25-16, 25-13, 25-19. Lareecia Swiney and Carrie Blunt paced Livingstone with six kills. Compared to the Hornets, the Blue Bears played very aggressive at the net and tallied six blocks over Morris.

Livingstone will continue play in the Blue Bear Invitational September 7, against Florida Memorial at 10:00 a.m., and Johnson & Wales at 4:00 p.m.
