Livingstone's defense was finally able to get the Blue Bears on the board with 3:39 left in the game as junior linebacker Bryan Aycoth recorded a safety.  On the ensuing free kick, the Blue Bears took six plays to go 68 yards and Mallos connected with senior wide receiver Kevin Shelf for a touchdown.  A two-point attempt failed and the Blue Bears trailed 59-8, which resulted in the final score.
