Coach Collins begins his first official season as an assistant coach, guiding the wide receivers. Coach Collins served as a student assistant coach for the wide receivers, running back and kick returners during the 2014-15 season.Â
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Collins attended high school at Wolfson High School where he graduated in 2008 as a 2 sport athlete. Collins garner All Conference honorable mention his senior year for football and also competed in Track and Field.

Collins had a short stint with Fort Valley State University with the football team, before transferring to Reedley Community College to compete. He was selected All Valley Wide Receiver.

After Reedley, Collins transferred to Livingstone in the spring of 2012. Collins graduated from Livingstone in 2015 with a degree in Sports Management.

He is the son of Jerome and Angie Rogers.
