Andrew Jordan Jr. is a former National Football League player of 8 years. During his time as a football player, he played for the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted in the 1994 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings and Head Coach Dennis Green in the 6th round out of Western Carolina University. From there, he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization and head coach Tony Dungy in 1998. After 1 season in Tampa, he signed a contract in 1999 with the Philadelphia Eagles organization and Head Coach Ray Rhodes. Andrew retired in 2002 after accumulating a lot of individual awards and team championships. He began his coaching career on the high school level. After a number of internships, one at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and two by way of the National Football League Bill Walsh Minority Internship program, Andrew has gained valuable insight and wisdom from some of the game’s best coaches and organizations. Andrew is married to Cythia A. Jordan (Gunnoe) and has three children. Chekaria A. Holit (stepdaughter), Chemaiya A. Jordan and Andrew Jordan III. He resides in his hometown of Concord, N.C.
