Dillahunty and Lee Recognized on 2025–2026 NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team

SALISBURY, N.C. — The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) has recognized 405 student-athletes from 68 NCAA bowling programs as members of its 2025–2026 All-Academic Scholar Team, honoring collegiate bowlers who have excelled both in competition and in the classroom.

To earn NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team honors, student-athletes were required to maintain a minimum 3.4 grade point average throughout the academic year while competing at the NCAA level. The annual recognition celebrates the dedication, discipline, and academic success of collegiate bowlers across the country.

Among those recognized were two members of the Livingstone College women's bowling team: freshman Makenzie Dillahunty, a Business major from Gary, Indiana, and sophomore Olivia Lee, a Criminal Justice major from Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The recognition underscores Livingstone College's commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes who excel academically while representing the Blue Bears in intercollegiate competition. As members of the 2025–2026 NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team, Dillahunty and Lee have demonstrated that success extends beyond athletic competition and into the classroom.
