SALISBURY, N.C. — Livingstone College bowling is preparing for a milestone season as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) celebrates the 25th anniversary of its Bowling Championship. The Blue Bears enter the 2026 season ranked fifth in the conference's Preseason Predicted Order of Finish, setting the stage for another opportunity to compete among the CIAA's top programs.
The preseason rankings, announced by the CIAA, feature seven conference programs competing for conference honors during a season that celebrates 25 years of collegiate bowling excellence, sportsmanship, and opportunity for women student-athletes.
Livingstone joins Fayetteville State University, Bowie State University, Virginia State University, Shaw University, Elizabeth City State University, and Virginia Union University in the race toward the historic championship.
Fayetteville State was selected as the preseason favorite, followed by Bowie State in second and Virginia State in third. Shaw claimed the fourth position, with Livingstone rounding out the top five.
