Charlotte, NC- The Lady Blue Bears earned a strong 76–67 victory over Johnson C. Smith, powered by balanced scoring and a dominant opening quarter that set the tone for the night.

The Blue Bears came out blazing, shooting 68.8% from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from three in the first quarter to build early separation. Despite the Golden Bulls push throughout the game, Livingstone never surrendered the lead.

Ny'Asia Green delivered an all‑around performance, finishing with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Nielle Reaves provided a huge spark off the bench, going 4-for-5 from three and leading all scorers with 18 points.

Inside, Boston Bates and Breasia Coit controlled the paint, combining for 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Jasiyah Crawford added 11 points and 5 assists.

Livingstone's ability to close was key—they shot 92% from the free‑throw line in the fourth quarter and knocked down three timely threes to hold off the Golden Bulls' late surge.

Johnson C. Smith was led by Salote Franklin, who posted a double‑double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, and La'Niya Simes, who added 13 points and 10 boards.
